LGBTQ Victory Fund Endorses Elias Rojas for Alaska State House District 20
Anchorage, Alaska - July 11, 2018 – The LGBTQ Victory Fund, the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ leaders to public office, endorsed Alaska State House candidate Elias Rojas, as one of its fourteen Spotlight candidates for the 2018 election cycle. The Victory Fund’s Spotlight candidates receive additional support and services from the organization to help ensure an Election Day win.
“From his time as a community organizer fighting for progressive causes, to his work for progressive candidates, to his advocacy to ensure equality for all, Elias has demonstrated he is committed to improving the lives of every day Alaskans and Americans,” said Mayor Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ Victory Fund. “We have no doubt he will bring his passion, integrity, creativity, and business savvy to the Alaska State House.”

ABOUT ELIAS ROJAS
Elias Rojas is owner of a digital marketing firm in Anchorage, Alaska. Throughout his career, he has used his communication and marketing skills as a community organizer for progressive causes, focusing on issue-based campaigns, coalition building, public relations, advocacy, and campaign media communications. He currently serves as the board president of Alaskans Together for Equality, Alaska’s only statewide LGBTQ civil rights organization. Additionally, he served on the board of the Pride Foundation, and is the Democratic Party LGBTQ+ Caucus chair.
